BAILEY Draft cross/TB/quarter horse gelding, turning 8yrs, a little over 16h, bay with 4 white ankles and big blaze, was trail ridden all over the state of Michigan, traffic safe, started hunter jumper training last summer. Excellent manners, very friendly, lovely gaits to watch and sit. Vetted with no issues. No blemishes or vices. School 2'6" and started on changes. $2500 Update: Did a two day IEA Meet in January '11 with 6 classes each day shown by high school and middle school kids who had never been on him. Got a 2nd and 3rd over crossrails and many ribbons on the flat. Update: Got a 1st at Region 2 Finals for his JV rider over fences!!! |

GIMLI Gimli is 3yr old Friesian cross gelding (eligible for registry with the Friesian Sport Horse Assoc.), eye catching bright chestnut, flashy mover, very athletic, friendly and brave. Oldenburg filly by Feiner Stern, last foal out of my favorite Premium TB broodmare who produced 11 show horses! 16h and leggy. 5yrs in July '11, hacking trails, well started on basic dressage and jumping cross rails to 2'3" and getting changes.. TULLEMORE DEW SOLD 2006 Registered Irish Sport Horse filly, a little over 16.1h. By Tors Gentleman Farmer (www.whelanofclare.com) and out of a premium oldenburg verband mare by Budweiser. The dam is an incredible jumper (shown in pic over fences at her first jumper show), Budweiser is a national Gran Prix jumper (www.quantumleapfarm.com) and Tors is showing good form over fences as he trains for jumpers. The filly is very correct and athletic with wonderful suspension and a brave confident mind. She has been well handled, leads, ties, loads, stands for grooming and ferrier. Broke for 6 months, really nice gaits to sit and loves doing the trails.. Currently schooling Intro dressage, starting simple changes and canter circles ,and a few lines of cross rails. Update July '09, did her first hunter show (first time off the farm), had no warm up in the competition ring and got ribbons in every class at 18" and won a medal class of crossrails! Was a very brave and willing lady all day!!!!! Now getting her flying changes over a pole. and schooling 2' verticals. $10,000 Update, now being used for IEA meets to get more experience at other show rings. Already placed several times at crossrails and flat with both upper and lower school kids! |
